Your counting itinerary begins after you arrive at the airport of TIA(Tribhuvan International Airport)) at Kathmandu.

Upon your arrival, one of our staff or office representatives will already be waiting there for you to pick up. You will be taken to the hotel check-in and a brief discussion and briefing session, where you can have your queries and doubts about the journey or the itinerary that you are having with the staff.

Your overnight stay in Kathmandu will be at a 3-star hotel.

You will get a sightseeing tour too on your second day of itinerary.

After breakfast, you get a drive around the valley for your sightseeing tour in a private vehicle. The sightseeing starts with the visiting the Pashupatinath Temple. There you will see the devotees visiting to worship and very unique and strange rituals of the Hindus. And the sightseeing at Boudhanath where you will witness the beauty of the ancient and amazing architecture of Stupa. There also you will witness the Buddhist followers came to worship the Stupa from all over the world. The visit to Swayambunath is situated at the hill lock and holds historical and spiritual significance offering you the panoramic view of the beautiful Kathmandu valley.

Between them, you are also taken to visit historically significant sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square where you get the chance to see the ancient palaces and beautiful temples built by different rulers of the ancient valley.

After the full-day sightseeing tour, you get the introduction with the climbing guide, a briefing and outline as well the planning session for the actual journey of the itinerary. And a preparation session will be done thereafter.

The Manthali Airport in Ramechhap is approximately 4 to 5 hours from Kathmandu. Begin your journey early, waking up at 2:30 AM, and travel to Manthali via a shared tourist vehicle with an escort. From there, board a 25-minute flight to Lukla. This flight option is commonly used during peak trekking seasons.

Kathmandu to Lukla Flight

For this option, wake up around 5:00–6:00 AM. Our staff will escort you to the domestic terminal at Kathmandu Airport. From there, take a 35-minute flight to Lukla. This route is typically preferred during the off-season for trekking.

Upon your arrival in Lukla, you get a short introduction with your porters and other member staff which you will be with during your whole itinerary. After that, we will continue our journey with the trek up to the place called Paiya.

The journey goes through the greenery of the upper hilly region and some small pine forests while crossing the Handi River and several small Sherpa Settlements following the path of mountain valley until we get there to Surke village.

After we go through the KongdeRi and Chutok La leaving Surke, we will arrive at the small village of Paiya.

Overnight stay will be managed there in a teahouse.

This morning starts with the fresh morning of a mountain in Paiya, and after breakfast, we will move to the Phantom. We will be going through Hinku Valley, which is one of the most beautiful points in this journey.

You will feel the steeps get a bit slippery as we go through different slopes and it remains the same until we get there in Kri La Pass. The journey is filled with bamboo and the Rodhendroden forest along the trail which offers you a view of spectacular mountain ranges.

When we arrive at the Pangom you will see a traditional Sherpa village with traditional farming for survival. The village holds majestic beauty with the backdrop of massive mountain peaks.

You will get an overnight there at the teahouse in Pangom.

We will again move towards the morning and after breakfast at Pangom, arriving at Ramailo Danda. With a walk of an hour, we will arrive at the Ningsow La Pass. From there you will have a bit difficult climb. Further, climbing through the bass will get you there at PesangKharka River, from where we again climb up to the PesangKharka Danda. Nearby we will be at Ramailo Danda after some ascend and descent. From there we will have the first massive glimpse of Mera Peak.

Your overnight will be managed at the teahouse in Ramailo Danda.

Today we will be moving to another point of this journey up to the Chhetra Khola. After breakfast, we will continue our journey. The journey will get a bit difficult from this day as we will start to climb the vertical steps. After getting over some vertical climb, we will be getting some descent, and we will get there at Chhetra Khola. At this point, we already get inside the Makalu Barun National Park.

The overnight will be at the Teahouse near Chhetra Khola.

From this day the trek starts to get more diverse as the trail; goes through the mountain forest. The route passes through the Hinku River. Then we will go through the small settlement of  TashingOngma. You will get a chance to try out the organic herbal tea.

We will again continue our journey along the Sanu River until we arrive at the Kothe.

The overnight stay will be there at Kothe.

This will be the progressing day for the journey to Mera Peak. We will continue our journey toward Thangnak after breakfast at Kothe.

The journey gets way, alongside the Hinku River, to arrive in Gondishung, which is located just beneath the Mera peak. From there we will be moving with the visit of Lungsamgba Gompa, a 200-year-old Buddhist Monastery. We will conduct a small program of, praying and lighting for worshipping for our safe and successful climbing trek as it is a practice of culture which is a beautiful tradition to experience there.

To get there in Thangnak, we just need some more walking.

Overnight for the day will be there at the Thangnak in a teahouse.

A day in Thangnak will be dedicated to the acclimatization day as we will be having a hike in altitude from the next day. We will be having a short hike around the village to explore its beauty and the culture it holds. You can try different local cuisines and foods at the moment.

Or you can just have a rest and prepare for the further journey.

You will get overnight there at the teahouse in Thangnak.

Today with the gain of 5000m of altitude, the trek will be a massively difficult than the previous day. After we have breakfast, we will continue our journey with a careful trek as we start to climb the steps and the slopes which are a bit difficult and rough.

Until we get there in Charpate Himal, again we need to tackle more ascend to arrive in Khare. Amazingly at such an altitude, you still see the small settlement of Himalayan people having residents there. From there you will get the actual Mera Peak to guess your summit as we are just beneath the Mera Peak. You will also get a majestic and stunning view of landscapes and mountain peaks.

You will get the overnight managed there in Khare Village.

We are again taking an acclimatization day for the higher altitude as we will be gaining a massive rise in altitude during the summit. A small training climb will be held before the summit.

The day will start with a very fresh morning along the mountain air. After breakfast, you will get a briefing and demo section of using equipment and precautions during the climbing summit. You will also get an introduction to some fundamental skills and the technical aspects of mountaineering.

The process of climbing at a higher altitude and returning to get sleep at a lower altitude will be followed today, to follow the fundamental procedure of the mountaineering session. So, after the demo and the breading, we will have a short climb with the expert Sherpa. The climbing session demonstrates the practical manual use and process of gears and equipment that comes under professional equipment such as ice axes, harnesses, crampons, ropes, ascender boots, and other included gears that are important during mountaineering.

After arriving at Mera Base Camp after a short climb we will return to the high camp of Khare Camp for a stay.

Your overnight will be there at the teahouse in Khare Camp.

With the journey of this day, the climb gets more technical and difficult as we are having our move towards higher altitude up to the Mera High Camp. The journey gets dramatically very adventurous as you will be at the proper high altitude climb from this day covering the difficult terrains and steeps.

This journey covers the high cliffs, inclined slopes, Mera Glacier, terrain paths, and rocky steps. As we will also follow the strict precautions with very care as our journey also gets more dangerous from the day. A small mistake can lead us to very unfortunate incidents.

After a long climb to gain altitude, we will arrive at the Mera High camp, and stay at the campsite at such altitude.

We are at the final summit day of our itinerary. It is the main day on which this whole journey came along. We will start our journey very early in the morning as the journey will be longer to climb the Mera High Camp to Mera Central Camp and again ascend back to the Khare Camp.

So, the journey will begin in the time of early morning at 2 AM as we need to get a lot of time to submit the whole journey. As we will also gain a massive altitude and lose at the same summit of the day.

The summit time should be before the time of noon as thereafter the strong wind will be on the way which can be dangerous as well and we will not be able to cover the summit tackling such strong wind. Summit time before noon as after noon the peak will be getting strong wind towards it, which can be dangerous for us.

With challenging and tackling the extreme cold, we will continue our journey through the glacier of the Mera. It will arrive with then massive peculiar ridge. After the peculiar ridge, the journey begins with the most difficult climb of the expedition, as you will be covering the actual mountain peaks. It takes nearly the time of 6 hours to summit the Mera Central Peak from the Mera High camp.

Finally, the Summit will be at an altitude of 6476m, after the hard climbing journey and a very difficult step. You will be getting the massive scenery of mountain peaks such as Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Cho Oyu with the massive view in front of you as a reward but the summit itself will be the reward of this difficult trek. You will be feeling the spectacular world of mountains with the successful, climb. You will have an overwhelming time there summiting the highest trekking peak in the world. After the summit, we will be ascending down towards the Khare camp following the instructions and the precautions following the same steps from which we ascended. We will follow and take more careful precautions as descending is considered more dangerous than ascending the p[peaks by any of the mountaineers. After arriving at the Mera High camp, we will again descend to arrive at the Khare camp,

We will get the overnight stay managed at the Khare camp after such a tiring journey of climbing the peak.

This day will be the Re-served day for the unknown circumstances that can make our summit be held. This can be related to or due to factors such as circumstances like weather, timing, or other incidents.

The day will only be counted if we cannot submit the Mera Peak in a single attempt otherwise it is just a reserved day in advance.

We will continue our journey with the loss of massive altitude by ascending back from Khare camp to the Kothe village. It makes us lose the massive drop in altitude of about 2500m in altitude. We will descend back to the same route from which we ascended there.

After arriving at the Kothe, we will enjoy a delicious meal celebrating the successful climbing summit.

We will stay there at Kothe Village.

The journey continues in the morning through the rhododendron forest. We will gain altitude again as we move towards the Thuli Kharka. The diverse forest consists of an ecosystem of flora and fauna. You will get to cross the Indhu River to get there in Taktho.

Thereafter we will pass through the Chorten, getting more uphill to get there in Thuli KharkaValley..

Your overnight will be there at the valley of Thuli Kharka.

The day will be the last day at the Khumbu region of this itinerary as we are moving towards Kathmandu the next day. The journey consists of the spectacular view of Mount Cho Oyu, Kusum Kharka, and other following peaks. After we will be getting descend to Lukla.

After the meet and greet with your team members and the Sherpa, we will take the flight down to Kathmandu which takes us 45 minutes to get there in the valley. Upon your arrival at the airport, You will get a private vehicle to pick you up and take you to the hotels.

Thereafter you can have your time or have the rest. You can also utilize the time to explore more about the streets of Kathmandu hunting the different local foods as well as cuisines. You can also visit the local markets to shop something for to take with you before your departure or have the experience of nightlife in Thamel.

This will be the last day of your itinerary from where you will get the departure from Kathmandu.

After the morning breakfast, you will be dropped up at the airport from the hotel in a private vehicle. From there you will be officially ending your itinerary.

The whole itinerary is filled with the stay in a teahouse and the lodges. You will be staying at the 3-star hotel in Kathmandu and teahouses as well as 2 days at the campsite during the trip. All the logistics will be covered with the basic structures of needs.

The meal will be with the structure of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

All the services at the 3 Start hotel will be of standard facilities and the services in teahouses are very basic as they are running with very limited resources.

Also, you will find the price of goods hiking as it is very hard to transport goods up there.

This is a very diverse trek that needs the proper scheduled plan and the proper itinerary as it covers the proper Himalayan terrains and the steps of the mountain region.

So, preparation should be as the planning session. All the clothing, equipment, and gear will be out-planning. You need to be in strict and cautious use of all the essentials you get in your hands as it can lead to unfortunate accidents if not being very careful.

For fitness, you need to be in good shape and good health otherwise it is nearly impossible to do the Mera Peak Climbing. Also, prepare with the basic physical exercises and some pioneer respiration exercises just before the month.

Note: this trek needs professional preparation as it includes the technical climb as well as the long trekking journey. And the precautionary planning expects to avoid any kind of accidents or unfortunate incidents. This trekking journey of Mera Peak climbing is also light mountaineering on its own, which needs fundamental climbing skills to be used, and the trek before it still goes through many restricted areas. So, you need some of the permits to get access fro the climbing expedition and the diverse trekking journey.

The combination of trekking and the climbing expedition in a frame makes it a bit difficult for the permits to work as it also goes through other restricted areas as well as preserved areas.

It covers the journey between two National Parks Sagarmatha National Park and the Makalu Barun National Park. This itinerary of our journey goes through the Makalu Barun National Park, and it also includes the mountaineering permit. So, below is the list of permits you need to get access inside.
