Though there are medical facilities in cities such as Kathmandu and Pokhara, there might be some remote regions of trekking where finding medical help would be a hassle. Having A self-sufficient first aid kit can bring a big change.

Essential Drugs: Pain relievers like ibuprofen or even paracetamol, antihistamines, anti-diarrheal tablets, and an antacid. Counter-type medications that are beneficial in treating or easing the pain for headaches, stomach problems, and also mild allergic reactions should be in your medical kit.

Altitude Sickness Suggestions: Diamox (Acetazolamide) should be kept. A drug that reduces mild altitude sickness symptoms.
